Alan Haber is an activist known for his involvement in progressive activist groups in Michigan and the San Francisco Bay Area. He was the first president of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) in 1960, which was a New Left student activism group. Alan went on to head the local Bay Area chapter of New Jewish Agenda in the 1980s and 1990s. Alan has published works under the name Al Haber, Robert Alan Haber, and Alan Haber. Odile Hugonot-Haber is an activisit and was a member of the Bay Area chapter of New Jewish Agenda. Odile was also a Bay Area leader of Partners for Peace.
